Last time I was stamped was 4 years ago and the app was rather uninformative. A restamp would be nice.

General Stuff

Name/nickname: Keylah
Age: 18
Likes/Hobbies: Eating (I don't eat big, I eat small portions on and off throughout the day. Ask my sister, out of the blue I'll suddely go 'I'm hungry'. She says I'd make a bad secret agent like that. I'll be in the middle of a mission, then suddenly announce that I want a chunk of tiramisu once we finish), sleeping, annoying people, piano, sketching, art, anime, manga, computer, reading, chemistry, science, fire, fencing, startling people (I like to make my sister jump. It's fun when she's twitchy).
Dislikes/Pet peeves: Buzzing from insects, and nails on a shiny textbook page: They're more annoying then nails on a blackboard.
Strong Points: Loyalty to my friends and family. I try to be there for whenever they need me, and hope that I'm someone that they feel they can talk to.
Weak Points: Oooh, I'm a wee lazy. I have a "Whatever" out look on things sometimes so I tend not to pursue difficult things that frustrate me. I also have a habit of procrastination.
Talents: I'm not sure if I have a 'talent' since I worked hard to be good at what I do, but piano I suppose.
Favorite Color and why?: PUCE. I like blue too, but puce is such a cool name for a funny color.
Favorite Sport: Fencing. It's violent...but you've got so much protective gear on it doesn't really hurt all that much. (Unless they hit you in the thigh, which actually does hurt if the rubber tip of the foil has fallen off.)
Mature or Immature?: I have my moments. I'm usually somewhere inbetween, I'm serious about important things, but I'm also a playful person.
Leader or Follower? Explain why you believe you are that way: Both. I like to be in charge and know things, but I don't have a problem if I'm not The one in charge. If it does end up that I'm the one in charge of a group, then I have no issues with being the Leader.

Some Thoughtful Questions

If you were an alchemist--what would be your specialty and why? Ooo, interesting question. If I were an alchemist...probably someone who deals with fire. I'm a bit of a pyro, I play with lit candles and toothpicks sometimes...I'm careful to take precautions though, I do it in the bathroom over the sink ;) But explosive reactions are fairly awesome as well. But I wouldn't use fire all flashy like, probably use it more covertly then Roy or Kimbley, like set delayed alchemic reactions similar to a timed bomb instead of running up and blowing shit to itty bitty bits or snapping and frying people.

You have a friend who digs turning objects into gold. S/he doesn't care about the taboo. Do you tell the authorities, join up with him or her, or congratulate/scold the person but leave them alone? Why? I think it's my duty as his/her friend to tell them that it's taboo, but personally? I don't care, and if I'm questioned about it I'd claim no knowledge and maybe set up a minor alibi to try to cover it up for as long as I can without getting into too much personal risk. I would probably continue to remind them to be careful of what they're doing or once in a while mentioning what could happen if things start to get out of hand.

If you could get rid of your most painful memory, would you? Explain why or why not.
No, I wouldn't want to get rid of it, because I think memory is what makes people who they are. If my most painful memory were taken away, then who's to say that something similar wouldn't happen again just because an experience I should have learned from never existed in my mind.

Answer honestly. Could you kill someone? The very first time is the hardest, most say. Could you look down the barrel of a gun--or whatever weapon you have--and pull the proverbial trigger? If the person had done something horrid to you? If that person had killed the best person in your life? Remember that you'll likely go to jail/get in some form of trouble--so think who you might rather go to jail for too or if it's even worth it.
I'm not for revenge, so in the first place I wouldn't kill them, I'd just hate them. A lot.

Now, if I was in the army and had to kill someone then I'd feel awful about it, but I'd probably have a lot more issues about killing someone when I'm actually looking at them. However, I have a....really strong sense of self preservation, so if I was ordered to kill someone, I'd do it by setting alchemic traps that trigger at a distance or are timed. So I technically wouldn't be 'face to face' with them. I'd still feel awful, but in a more detached sense then if I was pulling a literal trigger.

Is there anyone you look up to in your life? And I mean in real life, not anime or movies. Real life (where it is rumored that the three-dimensional roam). If so, who is it and why? If not, why not? I admire my mom, she's a parent of two who works full time but still manages to find time to hang out with her kids. She's also an unconditional place of support for me.

Do the ends really justify the means? Don’t look at anime/movies/books/ect-because usually, they do. Think of your own life and the real world around you. It depends on what the end result is. Logic vs Morality is a really difficult subject, I think it really depends on the situation.

Are you pedantic? A teeny bit? Only on things I care about.

If you didn’t/hadn’t know what that word in the above question meant-did/would you look it up or just wing an answer? I had heard it used in context before, but looked it up just to be sure of the definition.

OPTIONAL SECTION

Just like school. Please READ the directions.

Please remember-these two questions are optional. You don’t have to do them. If you only want to do one, that’s fine-just delete the other one. If you want to do both, fine. If you don’t want to do either, just delete this part. No one is going to judge you based on whether you answer or not.

Let's say you've got an arch-rival that you want to beat more then anything. For some reason or another, this rival and a good friend of yours have been forced to stand before the Gate, you with them. You have a choice. Going through the Gate--you may die, or you may end up in some other world (or so you've heard).....you can either risk going through the Gate yourself, make your enemy go, or make your friend go. Now think carefully here because you're not the one in complete control. If you go, who's to say your enemy won't kill your friend. If your friend goes, who knows what will happen to him or her. If your enemy goes, will the two of you be allowed to the return by whomever sent you to the Gate in the first place? What if you all go through the Gate instead? Or what if you banded together to try and get back to your own world? Would the relationship between you and your arch-rival change? There are a lot of unknown factors so you must think carefully--you don't know that it goes to a world [“our” world-Alfons’ world] that's relatively safe and much like your own, after all. This question is meant to be vague on some details, just as the actual situation might be, where you are forced to make a decision when you don’t know what will happen. What do you do? Well for one thing, me with an arch-rival makes me laugh. I would make a lousy rival, I'd probably spend more time devising ways to piss them off then actually trying to beat them at whatever my arch-rival thinks we're rivals about. That...or I don't care and just think it's hilarious that I have a arch-rival. Anyway, we'd all probably end up on the other side of the gate. Without any way back, the only way would be forward since, as stated, there's no guarentee that there will be a favorable outcome should we stay. I'd probably somehow incapacitate my rival, and then link all three of us together before cheerfully dragging all three of us through the gate of doom.

This is a more strategical question.

There are five men/women. Two snipers, two alchemists (one can use sand/earth, the other can do duct tape, and I'm not kidding on that one), and a civilian caught in the crossfire against four vile alchemists (they can use fire, metal, diamond and wood). You are the commander, whether you want to be or not (you make a choice whether you'd like to be an alchemist, soldier, scientist or whatever). You are stuck in close quarters so it's either them or you. You have the advantage of knowing what kind of alchemists they are (and don't underestimate the diamond alchemist, diamond is the hardest material in the world) but they don't know what you and your group can do. What do you do against them? How do you set up your people? How do you fight?

Well, sorry snipers, you're a bit useless here as snipers since well, Close quarters + Snipers = Not compatible. The most I can think of for them would be to use their weapons as bludgeoning tools, or firing blank rounds to make a load of noise. I would send them in first to get the civilian out and create a distraction to get the four alchemists' attention off the rest of us.

I would guess that Fire and wood are elements that don't do well against sand/earth. So I would send the sand/earth alchemist to focus most of their attention on those two alchemists, they could smother any flames that the fire alchemist sent around while negating the alchemy of the Wood alchemist using his/her Earth alchemy.

The duck tape alchemist can use their duck tape to bind the alchemists' body parts in order to prevent them from drawing circles. Diamond may be the hardest material, but Diamond alchemy is useless if you can't perform said alchemy in the first place.

I would be helping the two snipers with creating distractions regardless of whether I was an alchemist, scientist, or whatever.
