Is Messi about to shake hands with a giraffe? Is it safe for a soccer player to be that tall? He seems so breakable.

*snort* Well, he stood up to Mascherano's forcible mounting today, so I guess he's less fragile than he looks.

I used to live in Kensington in London, near Wembley Stadium (I think). When the soccer games ended, we had to hide inside until all the crazed soccer hooligans passed by. They used to wear big long scarves in those days.

I think the fans in Spain are not as crazy/dangerous as the ones in England. It's considered safe to take your kids to the games, etc.

Pique was definitely on roll yesterday. It wfeels like this goal gave him confidence back (I love how happy Pep was when Geri scored !).

Poor Xavi! They were on him all the time. And Seedorf taht kicked him at his knee from behind! Shit! I wnated to cuddle Xavi after this game so much.

The pitch was a disastre which is surprising at teh stadium of this station and teh clubs that play there.

And Puyi was just so ... Puyish yesterday:) *hearts in eyes*

Yes, I missed Saturday's game, but I heard that Geri did better then, and of course there was the goal. Hopefully he will stay on form for the rest of this season!

I know, poor Xavi! :( I wanted to jump in there and protect him. All five feet of me. LOL.

And Puyi was a lion, as usual. He and Masche and Pique were tireless in defense.

My father told me the pitch at San Siro (the one Milan and Inter use) always was problematic, and they fucked it up completely when they did the repitching for the World Championship in 1990. Still, I thought it was mostly bad under heavy rain.

it says a lot about how strong Barça is that Italian newspapers seemed happy with the result.

In the first photo all I could notice was Ibra's bulging crotch.

Apparently the pitch is bad after rain because it doesn't "breathe" well, but last night the complaint was that it hadn't been watered prior to the game. IDK.

Hahaha, I was admiring Leo's cute little bubble butt, myself.
