This made my heart sink a bit. But things like this have happened to other groups before.
I like the ending. It's one of my favorite types albeit my rare use of it. And it's probably good timing that I read something like this. Don't ask why. But thanks.

aw :( yeah, so many things like this happen to other groups, and sometimes it's inevitable. i'm glad you liked the ending! i didn't want to give them all horrible endings, because i think it's necessary to keep hope in situations like this haha. thanks for the feedback :)
