Tutorial #1: A Bright Coloring

Made in Photoshop CS
Contains 5 easy steps
Not translatable (involves selective coloring)
(Note that this tutorial works better with pictures that don't contain a lot of yellow or orange)


1. Crop base

2. Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color #C68989, set to Screen 50%

3. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color
Reds: 30, 2, 41, 15
Yellows: 18, 7, 19, 24
Whites: 100, 0, 0, -5
Neutrals: 10, 5, 1, 0
Blacks: 6, -5, -4, -7

4. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation
Master: 0, 15, 0
Reds: 0, 5, 0
Yellows: 0, 25, 0
Cyans: 0, 54, 0
Blues: 0, 70, 0

5. Duplicate base, bring it to the top, set to Soft Light 100%, & Sharpen if you like
