I feel you: within the span of probably three months I played enough CAH that I got rather irked whenever someone mentioned it. I noticed that my primary problem is that once that box comes out, nobody wants to do anything else for the next four or five hours.

I used to play Apples to Apples (which is the inspiration for CAH) and I liked it but because it wasn't quite as irreverently hilarious, we would actually stop playing sometimes and do other things. Like have a conversation

yeah, c.a.h. is definitely "once or twice a year" fun, not "once or twice a month" fun.
