Yo, back from the dead, quite married thankyouverymuch and alll smily joy joy about it. Was away on Archeological sites with Arturo and escavated a bit as well, though not much because back and knee not suited for lowly - as in bend-double-nose-to-ground-arse-up-in-air - labour. Hence doing all the clercky stuff which was surprisingly un-boring ( Read more... )

Holy fuckballs! You've actually posted again!

You missed me getting back into Teknoman - which I have of course been writing fanfiction for - I have no in-depth review from you for Meeting Places, I got Baeraad reading Animorphs, and I was starting to think you had fallen off the face of the Earth entirely! Nice to see I was wrong, though.

Heh... I's such a bastard, I know... *shame* I was utterly cut off from modern civilisation for months of full immersion into the past and it was the MOST refreshing and serene thing I've ever done in my life. So I'm finally taking that degree in paleoanthropology, which was my first academic love. :-D

Teknoman, who's he when he's at home? Am sadly ignorant, BUT FICS! by you! FICS! *runs to read*

And I'm really ignorant, Animorphs... series of books about kids transforming into animals? With powers? I seem to have a vague idea, but have never read. I suppose it's a good thing if you promote it, no? ;-)

Animorphs is one of my top three favorite series, on par with Teknoman and Guyver. As to the show itself, it's the English-dubbed version of an anime named Uuchu no Kishi Tekkaman Blade; I'm more a fan of the US dud, but that one never came out on DVD and it only covered 26 of the 43 episodes. So, I bought both the UK dub and the Japanese version, and it's been pretty interesting comparing the two.

For one thing Tekkaman Blade has 49 episodes, total.

Anyway, Animorphs is basically the story of five human teenagers, and one alien, who get involved in a war with an alien empire bent on enslaving the world. It's a lot richer, deeper, and more morally ambiguous than that, but that's the starting-point.

Looking forward to your reviews, m'dear; try not to string me along for so many months this time, eh? ;D

Yo! Thanks for the info, I'll try and catch up. Unfortunately FFN is down, or better, up and down in a dizzying fashion and keeps giving me TONS of error or page down or utterly blank pages so I can't get to your fics. Will try every time I have a mo, but at night - when I'm free to read and such - it always seems to be at its most uncooperative. :(

Congratulations! =D
*sends out warm hugs*

And a v. belated welcome back =)

AHAHAH Ace Attorney, I'm tempted to check it out (even though I don't play games) because of people fangirling it. Or referencing it ^_~

Thanks!

I don't play games either, y'know. Also, I tried but I LOATHE 'shoot 'em' games of every type and genre and even the Professor Layton series bores me to death. Ace Attorney, on the other hand, is... Well, I love whodunnit, I love procedurals, I love trials (Rumpole of the Bailey, oh, my old love! Also Kavanagh) and I'm totally demented so I've fallen in love.

It's true that it is a very unusual game, though. You get the real culprit rather quickly, but then you have to prove it according to the MOST demented set of rules in the universe. But it's the characters who make the game, fully realised or sketches, they's oddly quite human and I'm a sucker for well-written characters. Do try it, if you can, it's a game for non-gamers, I think.

I'm so HAPPY to see you and your lovely lovely penguin icon. :-D
