Rajeev keeps encouraging me to write, and I keep thinking it's a good idea, but I just don't have the impetus I used to. I have started writing in a paper journal again, and maybe that's good. Burning Man sounds *awesome*. I don't know if I've ever tried to keep a private journal so I'm not a good reference on that matter...but I know what you mean about Livejournal settling down. It feels like a mixed bag to me but, frankly, lj has never been like freshman year when I would run into people and we'd talk about things each other had posted. That was just...unique.

Anyway, I'm really glad you're making friends quicker than expected and enjoying the CS community. (CS community? Who are they?)
