They all basically do that (discolor). I had to put mine to bed finally over the summer. I bought another one, though, one of the 1997 versions.

Because many people (ME!) have Super Nintendos that don't work right and I'd love to have one that was ugly but could play Kirby Super STar without a ton of effort. :(
