I know I will never be able to convince you of anything, but honestly, Israel wouldn't have mobilized a few days ago if there hadn't been kidnapped soldiers and missles being shot into politically insignificant towns.
The problem of being an outsider in the conflict is that we will never be absolutely sure of who is right and who is wrong just because it is impossible to be absolutely sure of one's righteousness. The roots of this problem go back so many thousands of years that we'll never be able to understand. Basically, I just regret that there's even fighting, without taking a side.
i can't believe that the captivity of shalit is condoned by the hamas government, which gets a substantial portion of its revenue from funds that israel collects on its behalf.
Guess what. I'm in Israel right now too. I was about to post and I think it's going to look somjething like yours. I truly hope you're having as magnificent of a time in Eretz Yisrael as I am.
