I look like ... ME!

I've been a bit unhappy with my hair for the last couple of months (Too long. Too damaged. Too boring.), but when I went to visit my family in Pittsburgh, my father pronounced a death sentence on my hair. He said, totally in passing, that he wasn't used to seeing me with my hair long and pulled straight back, and that my mother used to wear hers

Considering that my mother looks like Judi Dench, no, it's not bad at all. But my mother is a certain number of years older than me! Of course I'd rather look like me.

We want to see! It sounds great, though. I have to admit that you look more like 'you' to me, too, with un-ponytail'd hair. You look pretty with a ponytail, but it's not as 'you' in my eyes. Something about the hair failing to reflect the inner Tigger, perhaps ;-)
