In March I went to a Writer's Weekend with Rowan's family. This was cool on so many levels. First of all, I'd missed hanging out with them in Hagerstown, since visits had been pretty infrequent since the end of my summer fling w/Rowan in 2008. It's a wonderful household, full of silly strange people and animals and organic produce and art. And

i really regret being the laziest SOB in regards to seeing friends i desperately miss having in my life. defiance, ohio is coming back to the black cat on june 20th and i'm going and i'm pretty sure you should be there, too! there's also a really cute twee band playing on thursday and i'll be there for that. aside from shows we should probably get together for drinks or something before you leave!
