The knowledge of what she has done sits heavy in her stomach for the first week she is at the Burrow, until Fred gets her alone and just looks at her patiently, his hands folded casually across his chest.
The room is silent for what seems like forever, and finally she can’t take it anymore. She’s going to implode if she keeps this secret any longer.
“I put a memory charm on my parents,” she finally blurts out.
When Fred covers her hand with both of his as she starts to cry, she thinks that maybe he understands more than he lets on.

George, cowering behind an overturned worktable, watched as Hermione glanced down at the heavy tome in her hands briefly before she chucked it at his head. He wondered what he had done to make her so angry. She looked about ready to implode.
“You! You’re so infuriating,” Hermione said fiercely. “Making me love you…”
George grinned, and instead of ducking when she threw another book, he cast a freezing charm on it and leaped over the table to Hermione.
He didn’t give her the chance to do anything else; he kissed her.
