Poor Eddie, did I sense some Rose/Edward action in the background? Or was it just my imagination going on overdrive? This was cute, although, my heart bled for Edward. Emmett is completely in character (well, except for the not-loving-Rose-thing).

Oh, Em totally loves Rose, but it's not the all-consuming love that he thought it was -- that, he's found with Bella.

There was definitely some Rose/Edward action going on.

And hey, is that a Sirius/Hermione icon I see?
I secretly love that pairing...

Yes that is, and I am the proud owner of hermionesirius! Wow. I have yet to meet someone in the Twilight fandom who has such a diverse style of ships. Sirius/Hermione is most definitely my OTP. In Twilight, Edward/Bella, followed by Edward/Jasper, then Emmett/Bella, and lastly Edward/Rose.

So yeah. I was more than impressed with your fic... even though my heart BLEEDS for Eddy!

You make a good case for Bella/Emmett. I like the "sentences" style of this story as well.
