Yay His Dark Materials! =) The Golden Compass is my fave of the three, though. Have you read anything else by Pullman? 'Cause you definitely should. Plus they're making a British miniseries of his Sally Lockhart trilogy. w00t! They're supposedly making His Dark Materials movies, but they're being rather slow about getting a cast (although they do have parts of the crew).

I'll stop being a Pullman geek now. ;)

I really like The Golden Compass, and I loved the Sally Lockhart books (the first one ended so sad though...). They're making a miniseries? That's so cool!
