Clearly, I can't be arsed to post about student teaching, but I finish two fics in the last two days? Nice to know where my brain's priorities are... *grumbles* For the record, I don't use the word "arsed" in normal conversation because, not being British or anything else-ish, I cannot pull it off. But I wish I could. Moving on

1) I know exactly what you mean with the Britishisms. I dearly wish that I was cool enough to be able to use them in real conversation, but alas, it just sounds lame when a dumb American tries to speak British. So I content myself with adding extra u's and spiffy words and such in my written messages. :)

2) I also know exactly what you mean about the kidsies. They can be incredibly trying at times in the library, but it just takes one little thing to make it all worth while. Yesterday it was a one-year-old girl beating her chest like a gorilla. Totally *squee*. :D
