Very this. Except, Platt's computer lab geek boys wouldn't have anything to do with me (and I don't think they had a formal club), so I mostly figured it out on my own at home. Also, I did my first few years of flirting via the internet. I never found the erotic fiction, though.

Yeah, I think I mostly used the BVSD net *to* flirt.

I definitely think there is something hardwired into my brain that says the "chat" interface is a perfectly normal way to communicate.
