When You Buy Bottled Water, You Pay for the Bottle, Not the Water

This infographic outlines some of the bad ideas about buying bottled water. You use more water making the bottle than you consume drinking it. It costs a few orders of magnitude more. I find it amusing that to make ice in China, you boil the water first. One step back, two steps forward...

On the plus side, every restaurant provides free tea, though usually of mediocre quality.
