Well, apparently Yuki-chan didn't think so. [It purrs at them, pleased despite the cake mix on its fur and falling to the floor.]

[Embarrassed, she takes it, the other arm holding her precious kitten.]

My pride's the only thing hurt. Silly cat...jeez. [Yuki purrs in her arms.]

She's very cute. Was she a gift?

Thanks! Oh, Yuki-chan? Yeah, Akihiko-senpai gave her to me as a Christmas present.

[She holds out the kitten.]

You can hold her if you want! She's a very friendly kitty.

[Junpei wanders by to grab some food out of the fridge. He spots the girl just as she crashes to the floor. She reminds him of Minato-kun for some reason. Weird. Anyway, Junpei attempts to peel the cat off her and asks]

Hey, are you okay?

[Junpei offers Haruka a hand to help her up.]

[If kittens could pout, Junpei, this one would be pouting up a storm. Haruka grins, embarrassed, and takes his hand.]

My pride's the only thing injured, no worries! Thanks for the help, Junpei.

[Junpei is very confused by the fact that the girl knows his name. A few seconds after the initial shock, Junpei manages to stutter out:]

O-oh. Good. D-do I know you?

[She continues to smile at him.]

It's complicated. Hmm...oh! You know how in some video games you can choose your gender, and even if the story's the same, it's not quite the same character you're playing? That's kinda like with Minato-kun and I!

[Haruka scratches the back of her head.]

They really should learn patience, the little brats. [Yuki's highly pleased, however, and she gives the kitten an affectionate head scratch.]
