Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I loved this! I love Alex getting Michael to laugh, and then Michael getting this train out of the station. *g*

Alex blinks and looks around slowly. 'I... yeah. Maybe.' His eyes seek Michael's. 'Is this universe B?'

Michael hides a smile behind his hand. 'Yeah. It is. Glad you could make it.'

This was-perfect! I wish the writers would do something like this,let them have some romance(and it is happening-,in the alternate universe!).This is so much better than what's going on now.
The brainstorming is exactly what their relationship is like in canon;it fascinates me whenever I watch the two of them. It's like they're one person,sometimes. I wish we'd see more of the two of them,and of course I wish it would end up the way it does in your story.
Thank you so much for writing this-there's not enough of the two of them,and I love them together. I hope to see more of this!

I actually cracked up reading this. Loved Lincoln and Sucre's exchanges, and Alex making Michael laugh was stunning.
