Some serious good lines in this, and all your characterizations were spot on.

Can't say I'd ever pair Faith with River but you really made this work, and work well. It was a great crossover and well worth the wait.

As with your Buffy-Bot fic I'd love to read more of this because you write characters so well, but of course...that'd probably be asking too much *sighs*

Great story though, BK. Massive kudos.

Oh, buttface, I demand a sequel.

That was awesome. Your River was spot on. Faith was all Faith like. The Serenity crew was amazing.

Buttface? What a weird but strangely endearing way to ask for a sequel :D

I'm really glad you liked it though. I had big issues with River while I was writing it so if she was even slightly spot on for you then I consider that a serious win :)

As for more, maybe. I like the idea of a one shot where River gets aclimatised (sp?) to living with Faith and the Scoobs.

Very nice. I like your characterization of River and the emotional vulnerability you give Faith in this. There's a nice balance in the tone too - not too angsty, but not exactly light either. Well done!

I really enjoyed both parts of this. I'd never thought of a River Tam/Faith ship but you made it work by Faith being all badass (loved what she did to Jayne) and River all wise-beyond-her-years and shit. You had all the voices so spot on it was like, didn't I see this episode on SciFi last year (when it was still called SciFi)?

Whatever issues you have with writing River, it's certainly not because you aren't able to - I thought you were spot on.
Also, I hope you do decide to do a sequel. I'm totally down with a Faith/River pairing; and I wouldn't mind River beating down BitchyBuffy while you're at it (hint, hint).

Thank you :) I found her really hard to write. I think it was trying to find that fine River-y line between genius and coco bananas lol. If I do write a sequel there will definitely be some River & Buffy interaction.
