S is for Stay

For Jonas Alphabet Soup. "S" should probably be for "Sodding work getting in the sodding way". So a short fic without meaning:

S is for Stay )

You wrote fic, and I like it very much :) Cultural and linguistic misunderstanding never gets old, and this is well played.

I also found it ironic that the one person who would have been in his corner for this one isn't there due to a case of glowiness...although one could argue that if he had been, Jonas might not have been rescued quite so quickly. Too distracting XD

Sodding work sucks. Satsumas.

(Believe it or nor, I know the feeling. The birthing of mine was painful, and work played a not inconsequential part in that).

Replying so, so late. Soz.
Why thank you, ma'am.

Definitely, too distracting. Not sure whether it will be because of the guys at the top, or Jonas ending up getting in to a much more in depth linguistic discussion. :D

Hopefully, easing off a bit now work-wise, but I'm finding my brain is feeling fried now.

Oh dear *pats gently*

Forget contractual agreements, the influence of the network, the individual character arcs and story resolution...the main reason for there not being a five person team must be to preserve Jack O'Neill's sanity in the face of all that linguistic and historical geekery. With extra woe when *all* the resident geeks decide to have a brainstorming session...

Really liked it. Love the imagery of Jonas hanging on for dear life while still discussing linguistics with Jack.

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for the review.

Jonas always came across to me as someone who could multitask. XD

Oh, this was fun! Loved Jonas picturing Jack wanting to shoot something and glad it couldn't be him with the angle, and everyone trying to distract everyone else, and of course Teal'c getting the last word in. Because he's TEAL'C. :)

Hurray for a lovely slice of team life! Thanks for contributing. :)

Thank you for your review, sorry for my delayed reply.

Oh, Teal'c should always get the last word, because if you bring him in too early he'll spoil it by getting awesome on everything. XD
