As Dave sang his eyes made their way to Kurt on more than one occasion. He did his best to make sure he wasn't obvious and he wasn't entirely sure if he was successful.

He ticked of the 'yes' box. No question. Dave's singing had his heart beating at double speed and his voice was like velvet to his ears.

She glanced around, trying to figure out what everyone else was doing. She couldn't really get a read on anyone else though. Sure Santana was frowning but when wasn't Santana frowning really. Eventually Tina checked "out". She kind of felt bad about her decision but having Dave Karofsky in glee just seemed way too risky.

"Hi...everyone, I'm Sam Evans and I'd really like to join the club." He'd already given the music to the pianist, but then he looked over and shook his head. "You know what? I'd like to do the acoustic cover instead." The guy nodded once, his sloppy hair falling into his eyes. "I'm not sure how many of you guys listen to The Smiths, but if you aren't, they're pretty cool. Anyway, I'm gonna be doing a cover of 'This Charming Man.' I guess...here is goes."

When it was her turn, Fio got up and made her way to the front. "I'm Fiona Jackson.... I'm gonna sing The Rainbow connection." Her voice was soft, and there was a firm nervous tremor to it, but it wasn't bad. It had a pure tone to it. The longer she sang, the better she got and stronger her voice seemed to be.
