Amazing! Perfect look at River's POV at the Lake (the second time); beautifully drawn. Wow.

Such a powerful Little ficlet. And Beautiful! I could feel the sun when I read it, and how she felt. Really, really good.

This...this is the winner. I just...I know it. It has to be.

Oh my gods this is just fantastic. Such wonderful depth, flow of words and just the raw emotion felt here, her helplessness and stuck in that long moment. Just Portrayed wonderfully. Awesome job!

This is so beautiful! In a heartbreaking way, of course. As others have said, you can feel the weight of the sun burning down on her and what it all means to her. How everything changed in a second from idyll to despair and how the sun itself changed from benign to threatening.

I also really love the mention that Eleven knows who she is even though the Ponds don't. That's not something I had picked up on, but of course this older version does know. How complicated everything is for her, keeping it all straight, and then how weighty that burning sun is as her world falls apart even as she doesn't really fully understand why, and how the only thing she can do, even though she knows it's never going to work, is to shoot and shoot again and again.

Thank you so much, I'm so happy you liked with, and the feelings and imagery! :D And yes, the complicated timelines-and the fact that this actually isn't very normal, because the Doctor and the Ponds are supposed to be in sync. I kind of meant to convey that it didn't strike her at first, but it was kind of a warning that something was off-didn't really go on about it though, because 500 words. It was a bit of work already getting it down to that ;) I wouldn't have it eating on my sun imagery, either. *chuckles*

And this is all so confusing for the author too even so Iʼm glad that feeling came across as well =)

how the only thing she can do, even though she knows it's never going to work, is to shoot and shoot again and again.
THAT PART JUST KILLED ME. IN CASE YOU COULDN'T TELL. River ♥

*hugs* ♥♥♥
