It's terribly shippy, isn't it? I'm working hard to get my friend M to atch DW right now because I know he would just love, love, love the Doctor/Master ship (we have the same taste in men). I know many think they overdid it by having the Master in every episode in this season, but personally I can't get enough.
And I love the Brig and Master meeting each other.
I think the Axons could be made to good use again- with better special effect they would probably be extremely creepy.
I can't help wondering if Chinn isn't a caricature of a real Life politician, or pehaps just a caricature of any public sevrant. It's a mean (and funny) one anway.
So very shippy! I'm loving it :D I guess I can get where the people are coming from regarding the Master being in every episode. Strictly plot-wise, it can seem a bit heavy-handed, particularly since he is very often to die or meet some kind of demise, and always escapes (mirroring the Doctor for that too, isn't he?)-but character-wise, it's just delightful and it allows us to really explore different sides of the character and his dynamic to the Doctor, and sometimes the rest of the team. Since it was the Master's introduction after all, and the character turned out to be such a huge and unique thing within the show, it seems only right.
I hope you manage to get your friend into it indeed ;)
Yes, seeing the Axons again could be interesting! Well, except for the Axonite they didn't seem to have any features that really stood out against other aliens, but exploring them further and in more complex a manner could be nice.
I definitely think he's a bit of a caricature, and so hilarious too ;)
Me too! And I’m not even very keen on slash. But they just are the perfect OTP, aren’t they?

Yes, I can see that too, but I can’t have enough of Delgado. I have a terrible crush on him. You probably haven’t noticed, but I do. ;)

I’m a little worried that he will stumble on the bad special effects and the (sometimes) cheesy plots. I rather like it, I think it adds to the charm. But I think I will be very sneaky and make him see The Mind of Evil first...
Yes, they would need some progress, but NewWho is usually rather good at that. Take the Zygons, for example.

I love the bit where the Master and the Brigadier have to work together! At that point, I'm just like, well, now the Doctor can go, this is great! (I mean, all right, so it would be awkward, and the Brigadier would have to look put upon every time it was discovered that it was actually his scientific advisor who was behind the invasion plot, and there'd be things like hypnotising his men and shrinking the cleaner, but at least he'd be more polite than the Doctor. :-D)
The Master criticising the TARDIS is the other best thing ever. (Is the Doctor in this one? He may be in it somewhere possibly.)
Colony in Space is another one of my gaps! (Oh, but I got Mind of Evil for my b'day, so I'll get to see that sometime soon now.)

It WOULD be marvellous to see! (I Think the actually do in a book or two, but I haven't read them. perhaps one should.)
