I love how to put Amy's rush of feelings in every description, and make her feel like a 3d person. Bravo!

When you think about it, the Doctor do an awful, awful thing toward Amelia when he said he would be back in five minutes. It would be awful for anyone, but an adult would know not to speak about it. And he never really makes it up to her, he never gets baby Melody back and eventually can’t stop the angels. Thinking about it that can explain how armslength Twelve is- not getting close in case he manage to hurt someone so dreadfully again, he must be feeling very guilty.

But I digress. You did a wonderful job building up Amy’s needs, keeping something and being free. Stealing as an outlet works perfectly. And the aunt’s behaviour fits so well into the canon even if you don’t really get to know anything about her. Here you can feel that she probably loves Amelia, that she wants to do right by her, but didn’t really want to be stuck with a child who has a character so totally unlike hers. And I love Mels and the bond Amy feel she has to her and you really get why Amy loves Rory.

Bravo!

Yes, absolutely. He didn't know he would mess up like that and find a grown woman when he came back, but… it's never quite acknowledged by either of them, yet it happened. Like so many things. She never considers he's failed her, not really, but he must certainly carry that weight. And indeed it also has an influence on Twelve, who reacts to it all in a very different way, but carries the same baggage :)

Anyway, thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the fic overall, and those specific connections and what they meant to Amy :) You really got what I wanted to convey with Sharon, and Mels and Rory = ♥♥♥

:D Thank you! *hugs*

Yes, I'm sure Amy never blamed the Doctor, but he knows it's there nevertheless. :)

It's a great fic! <3

Your work is always so full of emotional sophistication; it's rich without being cloying, and it always packs a punch. This is Amy, and I am so very glad I read her story here. (And thank you, thank you, for the section of story that talks about her connection with Mels; we forget the connection these two goes beyond "person surprised by unexpected motherhood, and unexpected child" ... much farther. They were friends.)

♥ Thank you so much. Your praise means the world to me! And I'm also delighted you enjoyed the part about Mels, I just love exploring their connection-it must have been so strong, two such passionate girls, each of them rather lost in their own way, and linked by such an extra connection that must have been so entangled and complex for Mels, and that Amy wasn't even aware of. It's just full of potential. Friendship can be so mind-blowingly powerful, all the more when you're just finding a kinship and understanding in the other that you've just never known before, and they would certainly understand each other…

Thank you! ♥♥♥

Gods...

How do you PERFECT, bb?!

EVERY. DAMNED. TIME.

I have no words...I never do when it comes to your fiction. I'm always too flabbergasted and reeling afterwards because...it ended. I'm always left with that ache, like there SHOULD BE MORE.

This one is no different.

Amy/Amelia. The stealer and the stolen. Somehow, it just fits...in all the ways that count and quite a few that likely don't.

Perfection, bb. As always.

*HUGS*
