God! I thought I'd never get around to posting those. Well, the initial plan was a big batch of all companions for One, Two and Three. That… *laughs* did not happen. Yet. But I'm honestly getting so sick of things lagging, I decided I might as well show my One icons now, and the rest will come sometime later. It's been five months since I last

How did you get the color into them, since the source material was mostly (all?) black and white?

Yeah, most were b&w (Susan and Dodo + Steven weren't), but it wasn't very hard at all-icons are made of "layers", often several layers of your base image with various light/contrast/colour effects, some added colour layers and some with textures. So I just had to fill the different layers with various colours, colour gradients, or gorgeous existing textures which I snag from some great communities-with the due adjustments for how much I wanted them to stand out, the light and all. It's really easy once you've gotten the hang of it, and combining some artsy textures can give really great effects :D
