Congratulations on finishing your novel! I know that's huge. You may still need to edit it, but at least it's all down on paper now. That's a huge hurdle.

Now comes the fun of editing it and polishing it up (I actually like the editing phase, just so long as I remember to save a copy and edit the copy so I always have the original in case anything happens. I hate it when I change something, then decide I liked it better the first way, but now I can't change it back because I overwrote it. Argh! Always keep a spare copy of whatever you start with.)

Completely agreeing about the spare copies thing. Personally, I liked editing at times and found it awfully hard at others, but writing is about the same ;) Can't always be a walk in the park!

I guess he did use up regeneration energy when he got shot by that Dalek. So even if he didn't change, he expelled regeneration energy.
