Whew, thank god it all turned out well. I loved that Brian finally got around to admitting he wanted love in his life (even though I thought that he was a bit too wordy for our good old sarcastic, taciturn Brian...)

(BTW, there were some sentences where I got confused about who was doing what because the use of the pronouns wasn't quite clear. It probably happened because you were so eager to relieve us fast from the last cliffhanger. *g* e.g. “No, that’s okay,” Brian says, and he leaves the room. Hope you don't mind me pointing this out.)

I think you're right, it's a bit too long of a speech for him, haha. In this fic I took a lot of liberties with his character that could possibly be excused because he has come a long way and changed a lot since season 1. He actually says "I'm sorry" a lot, he's a lot more affectionate with Gus, and he's just generally more able to talk about his feelings. When I read this chapter over that did come off as wordy to me, but I think what made me decide to keep it is I thought If Brian could do that whole this-is-why-you-should-marry-me pitch to Justin at the manor, maybe he could say this. But it probably would have worked a lot better if I somehow put those ideas into thoughts instead of having them all come out of his mouth ( ... )

NO I don't want it to be over!! this was so good!!!!!! loved the ending.....loved *fuck easier*. This is a most beautiful "precious" fic. Thank you sooooooo much. Can't wait for another.
