Awesome. My favourite part is this:

"And right afterwards, the terrible reality of it all was for a very brief moment lucidly clear to him: they were as bad as a fucking married couple carrying on like this. He was Jack shouting at Joan before storming out of the house to go to the bars, making sure she knew he was not going to be told what to do, not caring if his child heard the whole thing in the other room.

But the realization did not last in his mind long enough to stick, so that when he came back into the room and Justin, impossibly, tolerated it all and said, “I just want you to know that I love you,” Brian only looked at him and did not say what he should have.

He did not say anything at all."

So good. I'm really loving this fic. Keep it coming, please.
Cheers!

omg, you must update quickly and repair them! I am way sappy and cry over lots of sentimental things but it's been awhile since something so angsty has made me weepy. This is really very well done. Thanks for posting.

For some strange reason, I didn't like the first half of the story, and didn't warm up to it until the last half. The only thing I can think of is there was less conversation, and I seemed to be proof reading instead of being involved in the plot.
The last half drew me in, though, and I thought the motivations and characterizations were real and believable. It touched the emotions, and I still think of it as Season 6 in the saga of Brian and Justin, and just like watching television, I am looking forward to next week's program.
