Of the non-BJ scenes, Brian's with Debbie were some of my favourites because Gale and Sharon just made them shine. I can so clearly see Gale and Sharon handling yours with equal perfection and this

“You know something, Brian Kinney?” she says, like she’s noticing something about him right now that she never even saw before.

“...What?”

She kisses her fingers and presses them to his cheek. “You deserve to be loved.”

Then she turns and goes out the door, leaving him sitting there alone to wonder if she has any idea that she was just the first person to ever tell him anything like that. At that moment it is like a tiny flower bud has just been planted in the dead, barren wasteland of his childhood where rains no longer fall anyway. Probably too late, but maybe still worthwhile. He leans forward, crossing his arms on top of the counter, and says quietly to the dark room, “Thanks, ma.”

Me, too. They had such a great, unique kind of relationship. I think one of my favorite lines in the whole series is in the first pot-and-macaroni scene when she tells him, "You should quit the bad boy routine, because you're too old for it. And because it isn't true." Also the "You love him, don't you?" part in the bar is like one of the sweetest scenes ever.

I really loved the scene with Brian and Deb! That's so like them! I'm enjoying this story a lot.

Brian and Deb are wonderful in the show, and it's equally wonderful to see you bring them together in this. Usually, it is Brian who is everyone's (often brutal) reality check in the series, but it is Deb who is Brian's. I like her pointing out not only that Brian deserves to be loved, but that it is Justin's choice who he wants to be with, not Brian's. Brian tends to shape his relationships based not only on what he wants, but on what he thinks the other person wants, so good for Debbie telling Brian to not go there.

i really like debbie with brian when they get high together. (it seemed that during the series, most of the time they were in the same place at the same time she'd be calling him a little asshole and it drove me crazy!)i love when she told him he deserved to be loved. and hugging melanie at the airport is priceless!!!!

I just found this and I thought that I would comment. I like it very much and am excited to see where you take it. I think that killing Molly was very unexpected and it will be very interesting to see how Brian and Justin are going to react to one another. Also how after all this time how Justin is going to let him help!
