One of the things I love about this fic is how it brings a little more emphasis than the series ever did on the identical powers, making it have this emotional impact for Kotetsu that is fucking irresistible from a shipping perspective, and also all the more devastating in how there's this risk of them growing apart because of Tiger having to retire and how his diminishing abilities seem like this unpleasant symbol of that. IDK, man, I'm predicting some massive insecurities from both directions even though they've obviously reconciled back to being themselves with each other.
