This story is wonderfully intense. This chapter really surprised me in some ways- now I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what's next! Great plotting and writing!
I have to admit that of all the question raised in previous chapters the one I was totally on the edge of my seat about was what the hell happened with Dean and robo-Sam and this is pretty much like I expected and yet...somehow more appalling that I expected. In the most kinky way imaginable. What really makes the scene work is how it's coming after how Dean and Sam are dealing with remembering it later, so that when it comes up it's more like there are three characters in the room and there's this sub-textual sense that Sam is basically violating himself as well as screwing with Dean.
The crazy thing is I wasn't sure for a long time where in the fic I was actually going to have that last conversation with them in the car. When I realized this installment was going to be way too long for one entry anyway I kind of impulsively added it in right before the flashback as a sort of transition into it and was like Uh, I guess it kind of works here... Apparently yeah. LOL.
That sex scene was so many different flavors of wrong-hot, I'm still trying to sort them out. The detail that really made it for me, though, was Dean telling Sam not to kiss him. No matter what, these boys have always loved each other, and that lack of intimacy gave what happened between Dean and Robo-Sam such a hideously empty quality - desire fulfilled without any feeling, such a stark contrast to the sweet little scene between them at Stanford. I love this. I love, love, love, love, LOVE this, and I want more so badly I can barely stand it.
