Kansas is still the best fit academically - I mean that's a job posting that was written with someone like me very, very much in mind. Everything else is much more general Cog Psych. But it is very nice to at least have things to apply for that I would be happy to get.

You know you *could* visit me in Lansing too. I think it's very funny that you only talk about visiting me when it would involve going somewhere far away, but not when I am relatively close. Heeeee.

Heee! Mostly I talk about visiting you where it would be either 1) exotic (to me) or 2) cheap. They run cheap fares to NYC. I stalk and stalk and see no cheap fares to Lansing! SILLY CITY!

(or detroit, either, which is kidna weird for a hub)

Lansing is cheap from DC, and decent from Boston and NYC. It's also close to Chicago, which I know for a fact you can get to cheaply.

Don't worry, I wouldn't want to visit Lansing either. It's not much of a destination. It's much more fun to meet places where I actually want to be.

(I've already spent part of the morning checking out CUNY faculty subsidized housing. I'm so not good at tempering my enhusiasm.)
