There's a flurry of activity near the swag tables as a latecomer struggles to get set up. There's a lot of muttered apologies as he lugs coolers, packages, and various cooking implements through the crowd and sets up shop. He comes over, one hand still in the pocket. "Ah, hey Jeff. How're you doing?" he asks, casually enough.

He wanders up to the table and takes a look at Jeff's wares.
"Do you have something that isn't made of meat?"
Not rude, not really. It's a question he has, in the past, asked almost daily.

He leans over a bit, inspecting the salmon.
"I should have said 'red meat'." He smiles. Food is one of the things that tends to put him in an excellent mood. "I'll eat fish or foul, but not to excess." Gabriel takes a pepper and a kebob. Yum!
"So, do you know what's happening here, why the big party?"
