You know, I generally believe that the future will be awesome, but even if it's not... there are these few lines in the song "Home" from the Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast. I don't know if you're seen it ( here if you haven't; not my favourite version by far, but whatever ) there's this one line in it that goes "build higher walls around me, change every lock and key; nothing lasts, nothing holds all of me" and it perfectly sums up my beliefs about any time that suppression tries to occur. No matter how much you cage people, they'll find a way out because it's within their nature.
