Also, that's a really unattractively clinical compliment, but even so.

I love this analysis. It's so true - that entire scene just belongs to Maachan (and Lilith) and I'm so happy that she was given something like this for their final show. It's just her, through and through; but then again, her Lilith is flat-out amazing.

As for you, I can only, once again, marvel at your ability to write an essay on something like this and keep my interest all the way. ♥ Thank you.

Now, isn't that sexy~? ♥ I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wrote it while in hospital and it was a joy working on it, realising exactly what amount of ballet talent Maachan shows during this five minute choreography. Often Takarasiennes aren't exactly prima ballerinas (if they were, they would most likely have been paced in the direction of classical ballet, I could imagine), but Maachan truly is.

This is not my favorite play, but this scene is one of my favorite Maa-chan scenes ever. It's stunning, and she almost broke my heart with what she put forwards.

Thank you for breaking down the choreography. I'm not a dancer, and never really noticed all the details; I saw only Maa-chan's grace, and the joy on her face, not the range of her movements. I must watch again and see what I notice this time.

I can understand why this is one of your favourite scenes with her. It's my favourite scene with her, no doubt. The level of technique and talent she shows when it comes to ballet is truly amazing and comes to a final, perfect display in this play and this scene. ♥

You're welcome. I'm not trained in dance and I only know what I've read and seen after getting into ballet, so there might even be some mistakes in my description of the dance, but looking at it through those glasses... it makes it even more beautiful. I'm glad you enjoyed it. <3

Thank you for this beautiful anaylsis! I often think about these things when I'm watching Takarazuka, but clearly no where near your level of awesome.

When I first watched this show I cried at this dance. It is one of my favorite /dances/ from Takarazuka.

Now I only wish I were so eloquent in order to make my own anyalsis ;)

I can only agree with you wholeheartedly. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of ballet choreography in Takarazuka I've ever seen and it is such a... tribute to everything Maachan brought with her into her roles as a musumeyaku, top or not, and especially into the role of Lilith.

I'm sure you can make an analysis as well! We could compare notes afterwards! ♥ I'm just glad you enjoyed mine.
