I had plans. Grand plans. I had scenes of their domestic bliss all captured in Style-At-Home-worthy snapshots in my brain, just waiting to be drawn.
I've started two or three sketches that all went to the trash bin for being so horrible. I realised i am being too ambitious. But i had to get them out of my system, don't i? Otherwise they just won't leave me be. So i figured i'd start with something simpler, so, here goes.
The reference photo was of two emo boys. Working on Merlin and Arthur's features was tough (their lips most of all) that I feel like i'm not gonna be doing something like this for a very long time. I don't even know what Merlin is wearing (is that a hoodie?) and i don't even know whether he's sleepy or he just woke up (he's wore a hoodie to bed?) or he just have something in his eye. Arthur is wearing a collared shirt, does this mean he's getting ready for work (but did Merlin really wore a hoodie to bed?) or he just got home from work and found Merlin asleep on the sofa? Fellow artists would probably know that i'm one lazy person since i did not give much thought to their clothes (heck, i did not even finish their clothes!).
Huh, y'all don't need this blabber, so i'll stop now. I hope i get better in future attempts. :)
