Off the island at last

The worst thing about not having internet is missing important emails. I work in the dean's office, and my supervisor is part of the registrar office. She gave me a glowing recommendation to Ms. W, who is in charge of the copy center for a job. The thing is, she sent it a week ago, so Ms. W held the spot for me for a week as well as another reminer

I really hope so! Both of these ladies were at a meeting today so I couldn't see them. I plan on going tomorrow and being very apologetic.

I am sure they'd be understanding! You can always explain it to them in person and that might convey your emotions better than over email.
I guess the intarwebz are a more important part of our lives than we realize sometimes. Just because of the whole connectivity with other people thing...
