[ OOC Officially this takes place after Polka's shopping trip(s) with Hugo and Nino. Probably a few hours after. B-but posting it now because I know I'll forget later ;o; ]

[ Polka's voice sounds quieter, tired and almost strained, yet satisfied. Phew. I think I've found everything... or at least almost everything. These journals are really ( Read more... )

[Frederic comes to greet Polka, a gentle smile crossing his face.]

Welcome home, Polka. [He sees all of the things she is carrying and has a surprised expression.] What is all of this?

[ Polka smiles warmly. Home. The bag is set down with a soft phew, and she giggles softly. ]

My new friends Nino and Hugo helped me to find all of these. Look. [ She crouches, withdrawing a few packets. ] Medicine for your back, and Viola's cold.

Apparently a lot of our belongings ended up in the General Store. Isn't that lucky?

[Frederic takes the packets and sets them down on the little night stand.]

Thank you, Polka. [He sits back down in his chair and stares at the bag she set down.] You said you had other things, what were they?

[ Polka nods, pulling the bag open a bit more. ]
I found some of our weapons as well. Nino says there really aren't any monsters here, like there are back home, but I still think we would be more comfortable to have all of our belongings. Or at least, as many as I could find. I found your weapon too, and Viola's bow, but I think I may have missed the quiver of arrows she had, and my parasol. I can go back and look later.

[ After she'd rested. ] And lastly, I found these - I wasn't sure of your sizes though, I'm sorry. [ "These" would be a dark blue heavy longcoat folded over in double with a scarf for Frederic, and a red woolen cloak for Viola. ]

Heehee, just about! I've got the medicine packets of course, Viola's bow and Frederic's weapon, and I got some warmer coats for them as well. I neglected to check for my weapon and Viola's quiver, but that's okay - I'm going to go back and check again, I'm sure they're there.

Ohhh, yes, I've heard about that. I wonder what made them act so unusually.. Maybe it was something in the water.

[ A faint chuckle here. ] I think I'll be all right; it's not too far. But if it looks dangerous, I'll head straight back, all right?

[ The 'maybe' in that sentence is unsaid. ]

((ooc: Again got eaten by work sorry for missing this, ;; ))

You're welcome, Polka! Please think nothing of it! I know it hasn't been this long, but are you getting better used to Luceti now?

((OOC No worries :D ))

Hee, hee, I adapt pretty quickly, so you needn't worry there. But yes, I think I am getting used to the way Luceti is. It's strange, especially with these "experiments", but it's really not very different from any other city, I think.

((OOC: /F-flails anyway ;; ))

[She nods in agreement there.] Yeah, it is! ...Except that nothing costs any gold, everything is well stocked, and it's generally peaceful. It took me a small while, but it was easy, once I settled in with friends. I'm happy to know that you're doing that too, Polka!

Really I have you and Hugo to thank. I'm sure I wouldn't have adjusted half as well as I have now without your help!
