Getting used to driving, eXtreme approach

What better way is there to learn how to drive in England [on the wrong side of the road] than going through London North and eventually to Heathrow and back again?

The gearstick is on the wrong side, too. Fna.

Each pedestrian = 2 points, yes?

Ehm, no. I just drove with my german license for the first time, that's all. Gave shevek a lift to Heathrow and thus have access to car-car now. :)

For how long, and is there a warning system in place for when you're actually driving? ;-)

I drove an "inverted" car in Marjorca for a while. It was sort of ok, and sort of dangerous when I kept trying to change gear by opening the driver's door.

You have my sympathies. I drove a car when I was in the USA, going from a manual, 998cc, left hand drive, small Nissan Micra to an automatic, 3L, right hand drive, people-carrying buslorrybehemoth thing. Took my five minutes of driving to realise that the parking brake was on and another couple of minutes (and one missed red light) to realise that automatics don't slow down when you take your foot off the accelerator.

Plus, no matter how hard I twiddled the door handle on my left, the car wouldn't change gear.
