Title: Earliest Memory
Pairing: Snape/Lupin
Rating: R for nakedness, I reckon
Words: 900
Warning for sap, perhaps.
A/N: This is the twenty-second of the birthday ficlets. Prompt from linnet_melody, Snape/Lupin, Mercury. I figure since I have now traumatized everyone forever with the last ficlet, I should go less alarming with this one, and be quickish about ( Read more... )

Very nice and realistic look at their fledgling romantic relationship. Intimate, but neither man has yet lost all his wariness.

Wow. From slapstick beetle sex to poignant post-coital meanderings. Your range astonishes me, Flora.

Aw! *happy sigh* I love the post-coital discussing the ways of the world and opinions on things and histories and childhoods and such. What a lovely new-relationship moment. :)

Oooh, nice. I love how their language (especially Snape's) is so formal, but the conversation itself is so intimate.

Thanks. I figure Snape might require big words during cuddling because, you know, there's cuddling. :D

Hee! You put that so well. It should be quoted somewhere. Or written the Big Book of Snupin Fanon.

Snupin was exactly what I wanted tonight, and your voices for them are unsurpassed. Now when I look at that commissioned piece I have of 'Afterglow,' I'll always think that this follows after they've caught their breaths.

You are so versatile in your characterizations, dear. That always strikes me when I read your work. I honestly don't know anyone else in this fandom who could write so many ficlets with such an array of characters, and give each one such a finely-tuned and IC "voice."

You have such range, mean to say.

*is admiring*
