Also, it's probably wrong that this is totally, totally set at Grandma Flora's farmhouse. I mean, the house is all there in my head, and while their farm wasn't a working dairy farm for profit and stuff, heh, still, I have now set HP fic in my grandma's house. >.>

Dude, what's with all this fic lately that's making me care about Percy? I might start to like him or something. ;-)

Seriously though, this was wonderful, restrained and sad and hopeful. The characterizations were very believable -- I especially loved the moment where Percy acknowledges his jealousy of his brothers' athletic ability and then quietly lets it go, a sign of maturity he doesn't quite have yet in canon.

Spotted one typo:

He took his products out to the market on Tuesdays and Saturdays, neither of which were today, people bough them

Should be "bought," looks like. :-)
