For lyricalnights, who asked for Sirius/Harry, "Words of Wisdom" by Jump Little Children.

Someone needs to capture and return my smut and funny muses, because right now only the bittersweet one seems to be in residence.

Implied slash: SB/RL; HP/RL; HP/SB, but no smut. ~400 words.

I know I'll think of this whenever I hear the song now; it's another piece of my Sirius/Harry mental picture.

I loved Harry's mode of speech and movement patterns; they fit him well and they're very 15-yr-old boy-ish. Also, that bloody-minded determination of his is so very present.

I had years and years to grow up and be your friend and equal and make myself important to you as something other than dead Jamie’s boy.

Since I've started writing again, I find myself watching how people move in ways I didn't before, contemplating anatomy (no, not like that usually) and mechanics, like on kids and on people who are tired, etc. Different kinds of people and bodies and limbs, you know? :D

Meanwhile I'm off reading your stuff trying to find the frickin smut muse, who was JUST HERE and wandered off. (The H/D something borrowed, something blue one, and the unconscious Harry and the magic skull one, both of which I could cheerfully read every single day).
