Ficlet: "At dawn" - Harmodios and Aristogeiton.

Oct 10, 2005 22:51

This is the offspring of another challenge at "eros athanatos".
The challenge was to write a short ficlet inspired to the quote by Nietzsche: "When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares at you."Rules: The piece had to be between 100 and 200 words (not a word longer), and the quote must appear into the ficlet. Whatever character, whatever ( Read more... )

Awwww, thank you.
In just 200 words it wasn't easy to throw some good images. I'm glad they worked for you.

(and btw, did I already tell you how much I freaking miss you? Why do you have to live on the other side of the known world? *sighs*)

I miss you too. Graduate school is so hard, and the weather is bad, and... I wish I could just vacation in Italy with you forever ;__;

I'm entranced with your writing, you know that. It's charming, and impressive - your echoing motives and images, voices and feelings from the past entwining into the feelings of the things to come. Great.
the translation's posted here: http://www.diary.ru/~Phai-land/?comments&postid=7851966, I hope you still don't mind.
I still had no time (moving house is really a disaster!) to read "Fallen Embers" and I'm sorry for that, I hope I'll soon have and hour free to read, and adore it, and meditate upon it ^^

Thank you my dear, and I thank you again for your translations of my pieces. You know they are always welcomed, and I alwyas feel honoured and amazed by the fact you devote your time to do that.
Hope everything will settle for good after your move - so maybe you'll have the time to translate something yours too. I miss your writing, and I'll be waiting for it.
*hugs you*
