A man was standing behind the wall. His back pressed against it, the man was wearing a pair of jeans, a white t-shirt and sunglasses. He looked gorgeous even though it was a simple outfit.
He was talking to someone on the phone, trying to explain something to the other person.
I didn’t know who he was talking to until I heard a name. “Katie” he said. I wonder who that ‘Katie’ is…
Today, it’s been one year since my boyfriend and I got together. I was hoping he remembered. I was planning on celebrating it with him tonight. I had reserved a table at the restaurant he confessed his love.
That name kept ringing in my head the whole day. I was kind of nervous. Kamenashi and Nakamaru kept asking me what was wrong and I didn’t want to answer them nor to worry them even more. I just said that everything was alright.
“Katie! You worry too much! Of course I’ll be there tonight! You know I can’t miss this occasion. You know very well what it means to me…” he smiled while talking on the phone. “I have to go now, see you later. And stop worrying ok?” he added and closed his phone.
He looked at his watch. “15h25… I still have time, yosh!” he said then walked out of the building.
I sent him a message, telling him to join me at 19h30 at the park near my house.
5 minutes later, I got a reply. “Ok ~” it was saying. I still wondered if he would come though. It seems like he had an appointment with ‘Katie’ I still don’t know who she is though. I could have asked Yamapi or Jin but I didn’t want to give in to my curiosity. So I just kept quiet.
It’s 19h40, and I’m at the park, waiting for him to arrive. He’s late, but I still wait for him. I try calling him but I got to his voicemail immediately. I became to worry when the clock rang 20h. My phone began to vibrate in my hand, indicating that I had a call from Yamapi.
“Hello?” I said.
“Tatsuya ~ where are you?” he asked.
“I’m at the park, I asked Ryo to joined me, why?”
“Tatsuya, come here quickly, will you? I need to tell you something, it’s about Ryo-chan!! Come quick!” he told me.
I was anxious, I didn’t know what happened, since I couldn’t contact Ryo.
“Where?” I asked worried.
“At the bar called “Angel’s Voice” Kazuya and me are waiting for you” Pi said then hanged up.
I run to my car, and looked for that bar where Kame and Pi are waiting for me.
15minutes later, I can finally distinguish the neon light of the “Angel’s Voice” bar.
I park my car in the alley and got out of it while still looking around me.
I can see someone out the entrance, smoking. He’s tall and wears a cap.
I didn’t recognize him until he spoke to me.
“Tat-chan!! It’s been awhile, how are you?”He smiled widely at me.
“Jin? Is that you? What are you doing here?” I asked confused.
“Yup! Pi called me this morning, so I took the first plan to Tokyo, and here I am!” Jin hugged me and pushed me to enter the bar.
“Tatsuya! Finally here, are you okay?” Pi asks me as he gave me a beer.
“Yes I’m fine, what did you want to tell me? I didn’t know Jin would be here too…”
“Tatchan!” Kazuya grins at me.
“Kazuya… so what is happening?”
“Don’t you know what day is today?” a voice whispers in my ears.
I shuddered at the voice. I recognized it immediately.
“Ryo…? But I told you to join me at the park…” I’m nervous all of a sudden.
“Hime ~ Happy 1st year anniversary!!” he says then peck me on the lips.
“But… what about the…” I try to voice out but nothing come out my mouth.
“We knew about the reservation, and we canceled it ~” Jin says while drinking his beer.
“Eh? Why??” I’m really confused now.
“Hime, come here a second” Ryo says and take my hand.
He pulls me to a VIP room and pushes me to sit on a chair.
“Tatsuya, I wanted this night to be the perfect night ever.” He says while still holding my hands.
“I know you heard me this morning, Katie is the boss of this bar where Pi, Jin and me always go to celebrate important things” Ryo is grinning madly at me and kissing me softly on the cheeks. I can see he’s really happy.
“But I reserved the table at the restaurant and…”
“I know baby, but I planned this since a month ago, I couldn’t let this chance be ruined” he looks at me in the eyes and put on a necklace around my neck.
“I love you with all my heart, Hime, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want you to be the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning. I want to kiss you and take care of you until death do us apart. Please marry me, Ueda Tatsuya, accept to be part of my life for eternity?”
“But Ryo… it’s been only a year…”

I already called your parents, and they’re agreed” he says sheepishly while scratching his head in embarrassement. “It’s really embarrassing and you know I’m not good with words. “I love you Ryo, sincerely. I accept to be part of your life for eternity. I want to wake up every morning and see your sexy face kissing me softly. I am so grateful that you confessed one year ago.” I cry in his arms as he’s hugging me tight.
“I was so afraid this morning, when I heard you talking to a girl. And when I was waiting at the park and you weren’t coming nor answering your phone. I got really scared”

“Such a pretty guy!!” a woman’s voice says.
“Katie! I told you not to say ‘pretty’ in front of him!” Ryo growls at her.

“Hi, Tatsuya, I’m Katie. Nice to finally meet you in person. Ryo talks about you non-stop. I wonder if he’s even breathing hahah” she laughs at him.
“Geez, let us alone already! I’m not finish” Ryo is a little angry at her for interrupting us but I can see his happy smile.
“Hai hai ok! I just wanted to see the face of the person who stole Nishikido’s heart” She’s smiling widely at me while saying that.
“Hello, nice to meet you too, Katie. Seems like you know pretty much about me already.” I say shyly.
“I know a LOT indeed! Well I’ll let you two celebrate in peace now, take good care of him ne!” She walks away and pushes Pi and Jin out the door in the same time. They were spying on us and grinning like mad men.
“Katie is my confident. I know I never talked about her to you but she’s the only trustable person I know here. Well the second, since I have you”
Ryo takes my hands in his and kisses them slowly.
