so apparently the changeling game may not actually be running after all because of some stupid camarilla drama :/ what on earth is that organisation good for beyond giving people bragging rights or something, I can only wonder. it seems to cause a lot more trouble than it's worth to be honest, I mean god forbid you run an unsanctioned game

The Cam is quite good at getting big games together.

Unfortunatly, once in it poeople tend to see things only in terms of the Cam due to MC points and Player Base (even if Cannon focuses on isolation, lose, and the dangerrs of meeting new people).

At this point I'm right with you on the hassle of renewing Cam.
Worst £12 I've spent in a while.

well I haven't really had the opportunity to play in the local LARP games and since they're all run by camUK they have stupid weapons rules which basically reduce you to using a piece of paper with 'this is a knife' written on it.

as far as I can tell if you find a game you like and avoid the politics of the cam it is very good fun though. ideally you'd want to find a non-cam game so you can actually have fun and not get bogged down in bureaucracy :3
