Pairing: Girl!Sulu/Girl!Chekov (Chekova, even though it feels weird, because there actually is precedent for girls having different spellings of their last names)

Notes: In exchange for idlepabulum 's adorable ( Read more... )

Is it bad that my favorite part is that you got the feminine version of the name right? Because that is seriously my pet peeve!

And the rest of it is lovely and sweet as well, of course.

lol - I wouldn't have known to do it if not for someone referencing Safin and Safina, some Russian tennis players. I still think it's weird as hell, and I'm under the impression that some Russian surnames don't genderize, whether that impression is true or not.

Glad you enjoyed it, though ^.^ there's probably going to be more of this, though (despite being basically a lesbian) I've never written femslash before.

Haha... I think that I'm the one who referenced Safin and Safina. Was it in this thread: http://community.livejournal.com/st_xi_kink/3656.html?thread=6521672#t6521672 ?

Because yeah. Signs I care way too much...

yea, I kind of suspected it was you, hence my phrasing (I seriously thought about putting "someone" in italics), but I didn't remember a username...and you were anon.

*patpat* don't worry. I care about the way people bastardize Japanese (I'm taking my sixth year of the language starting in the fall), it's just different areas of interest.

They are SO THEMSELVES, but girls!

I am... really tempted to write the ensuing femslash.
(Seriously, would you be okay with it if I did?) I see from the comments that you're planning to! I will gleefully await your version.
