You mention one in Washington, but I can't find links to it on their site or online. Do you know how to find it, and is it near me? I'd be very interested in this. - Teresa
The site's a little confusingly laid out -- here's their page on other locations and upcoming sites. There's one already in Port Townsend. I see that there's one coming up soon in Olympia! That should be perfect.
I paid about twice what I'd have to in the local grocery stores for about 10x the leaves, so I'm th the results. They are also glossy and beautiful and aromantic. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with 'em other than make Thai soups and freeze them for more soup later. :)
I tried mincing one and infusing it in coconut kefir and drizzling that over raspberries, and the flavor was good but the texture... okay I will not be adding minced kaffir lime leaves straight to food again, though they'd be fine in a paste.
hey, Gretchen. thanks for the comment over on my blog. I am happy to hear from someone who orders from Local Foods. I have been thinking about it. I usually go to the Cabrillo market on Sat. Nice to connect with you on line.

That site (the master site) has contact info too if you want to find out when it's coming in.
