It's been a very eventful fall. Between work and my girlfriend having some pretty major surgery (she's in recovery mode right now) it's one of those deals where I just can't figure out how to write it up in a way that didn't sound self-pitying or whining - and yet I didn't really feel like writing about anything else. So ... pretty quiet.
