AntiRSI - saves your wrists
NetNewsWire - feed reader
Secrets - pref pane that shows hidden settings
Transmission - bittorrent
Handbrake - DVD ripper
Perian - big bundle of video codecs
Flip4Mac - for WMV
Miro - video-oriented RSS reader
VLC - very, very rarely you find a video that only this can play
Lightroom - Adobe's far superior version of iPhoto
MacPorts - Debian ports system for Unixy crud
XScreenSaver - obviously

I'm also going to take great delight in horrifying the Mac Faithful by also running Windows 7 on it :)

Hmmm - now I could run MCL under Mac OS 7 under Basilisk II inside Windows under VMWare on OS X. I think I'll have to go do that when the beast arrives.
